The need for optimum theatre throughput has never been greater, so it is no surprise that surgeons are frustrated by current systems which may result in them spending only 50% of their allocated theatre time actually operating!

NEW HORIZONS - LIBERATING SURGICAL TEAMS

Message from the Conference organiser

Thankyou to everyone who attended the conference - to the NHS Institute for financial and practical support, to the 18 week team and to presenters, facilitators, exhibitors and delegates, without whose active participation, it would not have been such a success.

I hope that your enthusiasm for improvement will continue into 2008 – I know we have learned a great deal here from so many of you and are renewing our efforts to move ahead.

If further opportunities for learning arise, we will post them on this site.

I hope you have a happy Christmas and successful 2008.
