Elective Care - CITEC.

It was announced in December 2004 that South Devon NHS Foundation Trust had been chosen as one of just five flagship national Centres for Innovation and Training, making Torbay Hospital a "hub" of best practice for day surgery and short-stay hospital care. In 2006, we became linked with the NHS Institute for Innovation & Improvement, an organisation which is working with forward thinking trusts to improve care.
